This album, Seek your souvenir (Okurimono wo Sagashite), was released on May 16, 2025, on the Angelic Post-Shoegaze Label "Siren for Charlotte."
In choosing the existing tracks and shaping the concepts for the newly written ones, we curated the collection much like a self-edited anthology of short stories -- staying mindful of Siren for Charlotte's philosophical lineage, and conscious that this would effectively stand as worldelec.(Sekai Denryoku)'s first full album.
Looking over the collection anew, with the lead track "Post-Zunda-Rock-Nanoda" at its center, I sense a kindred sentiment running through it all -- from the two impulse-driven early works released in 2021, "never end, departed" and "far away, farewell", through to the new pieces written expressly for inclusion here: "seaside sanatorium," "or there," and "the world is not mine." There is, it seems to me, a shared texture in the scenes they portray and in the things upon which their gaze rests.
